Research notes

The official experience page returns x-frame-options: SAMEORIGIN, so it cannot be embedded here. The Roblox API identifies place 93978595733734 as a free experience with six-player servers and the Butcher title. These are public-page and API checks; this guide does not claim a tested client login or match on each device.

Start in four steps

You need a Roblox account. The experience itself has no separate purchase. The games API returned price null on 27 Oct 2026.

  • Install Roblox from roblox.com/download. Phone users use the App Store or Google Play listing for Roblox, not a random APK.
  • Sign in on the same account you want progress on.
  • Open the official experience: BUTCHER x Violence District, place id 93978595733734, universe 6739698191.
  • Press Play. A match is one killer and five survivors. The server cap is 6.

PC, laptop, and Mac

The desktop path is Roblox Player. Laptop searches use the same installer; there is no separate download for this experience. Roblox supports Windows and Mac. For hardware and operating-system requirements, use Roblox’s official requirements page below. Storage needed by the Roblox app and downloaded experience assets varies by device and update, so there is no verified fixed Violence District file size to list here.

Phone and console

Mobile support has been in the patch notes since 3 Apr 2025. Exact touch buttons are not published in a source I can quote, so they are not invented on this page. Console play is through the Roblox app on Xbox and PlayStation. A controller can play the game — a public video shows a high-level controller session — but the button map is unconfirmed, so it lives on the controls page as “not verified,” not as a diagram.

If Play does nothing

The usual failures are an outdated Roblox app, a signed-out session, or a region outage on Roblox itself. Update the app, then open the place id directly instead of a search result that might be a different experience. The group that owns this one is VIOLENCE DISTRICT, id 8818124. A same-name game called The Veil is a different universe.
