Research notes
The Killer is the roster name; Jeff is the common nickname. Its single listed power is Frenzy: a timed rush with fast movement, obstacle vaults, and Killer Instinct tracking. Successful chained hits refill the gauge and raise speed; the fourth consecutive hit downs its target regardless of health. The 14 November 2025 patch added lunging during Frenzy; that entry does not establish a first-person camera rework.
Kit
The wiki lists The Killer at 115% base speed with a 90-stud intent radius. Frenzy raises the radius to 120 studs. The 14 November 2025 patch added Frenzy lunging; it is not evidence of a camera rework.
The wiki associates these personal perks with this killer: Terror Spread / Sloppy Mess / Resentment Clinger. Exact unlock levels and cross-killer availability were not confirmed in the cited text; check the current in-game menu before planning a purchase.
Frenzy chain and fatigue
Frenzy lasts 13 seconds before hit refreshes, starts at 150% movement, allows pallet and window vaults, and supplies Killer Instinct within the 120-stud radius. Successful chain hits refill the power gauge and increase movement through 160% and 170%. You cannot chain consecutive hits on the same survivor. The fourth chained hit downs the target regardless of their health state; earlier Frenzy hits are not automatic downs on already injured targets.
A missed attack or stun ends Frenzy and its chain. The skill text explicitly lists a stun, the fourth consecutive hit, a repeat-target hit, and timeout as triggers for 2.5 seconds of fatigue. Its older fatigue-speed figure is 6.85 studs per second, but the 24 October 2026 patch raises endlag movement to 8.5; the newer entry takes precedence.
- Suggested loop: approach a group, activate Frenzy, land a hit, and use Killer Instinct to find a different nearby survivor before the refreshed gauge expires.
- Chain toward a fourth-hit down only when another target is reachable; do not repeatedly strike the same survivor to farm the gauge.
- If the group splits, stop relying on a four-hit chain. Recover from fatigue and pursue an isolated injured survivor with basic attacks.
Build notes
Suggested loadout: Sloppy Mess + Resentment Clinger + All Seeing Eye, subject to availability. Sloppy Mess makes basic-hit survivors bleed more and slows their healing by 25/30/35%; it is not restricted to healing from the dying state, and Frenzy special hits are not its stated trigger. Resentment Clinger earns tokens from stuns and spiking, extending basic attack lunges until those attacks spend tokens. All Seeing Eye locates sustained cooperative repairs, helping you approach potential chain targets. Use Frenzy to spread injuries, then use basic attacks to secure isolated downs and apply Sloppy Mess. Replace All Seeing Eye with Terror Spread if you prefer Winded on generator completion over generator-location alerts. This is an editorial plan, not a tested best build.
How survivors answer it
Spread out so Frenzy cannot easily chain across nearby targets. Windows and pallets are not guaranteed barriers because Frenzy can vault both. Try to force a miss or stun rather than relying on a straight-line race against 150-170% movement. The same survivor cannot supply consecutive chain hits, so denying another nearby target limits the chain. After the fourth chained hit, a stun, a repeat-target hit, or timeout, fatigue creates a brief repositioning window. Healing penalties from Sloppy Mess follow basic hits, not every Frenzy injury.
Jeff, Jane, and Simon skins
Jeff is the nickname for The Killer, not another purchasable killer. The wiki lists Jane and a Simon Henriksson-inspired appearance as skins, not separate roster entries. It also documents voice, animation, and chase-music differences on some skins, so they should not be described as having no presentation differences. Check the current shop for availability rather than assuming historical event outfits remain purchasable.
