Lake of Mist grants 80% translucence, Haste, and complete Stealth that lingers for four seconds after decloaking. While cloaked, Slasher cannot vault, destroy props, or attack; decloaking brings slowdown and a listed 1.9-second endlag. The wiki recommends using that opening to reach a vault or pallet. During Pursuit, touching a dropped pallet destroys it and slows Slasher afterward, so pre-dropping every pallet is not a universal answer. The October 25 patch notes distinguish a pallet stun during Pursuit: it destroys the pallet but stuns Slasher for three seconds. Vault routes remain useful because Pursuit does not increase vault speed.
